Secured £1.1m towards the redevelopment of the theatre. Work also carried out on audience development, governance and marketing.
Am Fasgadh Regeneration Company (Kingussie) Ltd (ARC)
Contracted by ARC to undertake rigorous assessment of potential markets for the development of The Cairngorms Centre, including market research, funding assistance and business planning.
Sorbie Tower
Contracted by the Clan Hannay Society to carry out an options appraisal for Sorbie Tower, the Clan Seat. Sorbie Tower is a 15th century tower house which is currently maintained as a ruin.
Stranraer BID (Business Improvement District)
Worked with the Stranraer BID Steering Group, BIDs Scotland and Dumfries & Galloway Council, we were contracted to co-ordinate the development of the BID over a fourteen month period leading up to the BID ballot.
Managed the set up of Stranraer Development and successful application for charity status. Work also included project management and development, most notably the Stranraer Oyster Festival.
Cree Valley Community Woodland
Carried out an organisational review to assist the organisation in becoming more sustainable.
Developed a funding strategy, business plan and funding applications.
New Galloway Community Enterprise Group
Carried out research and development work to assist the community to take over the village shop.
Newton Stewart Park Project
Work has just started to support this group’s project to develop a park area and to create a new Community Initiative group. Funding secured so far £10,000.
Donald Watson Visitor Centre
Worked with the Glenkens Community and Arts Trust to prepare a Stage 1 HLF application.
Moat Brae
Engaged to assist with the fund raising effort. Contracted for 25 days.
Moniaive
Trained and mentored their new community project worker providing 6 weeks intensive training.
Whithorn Trust
Advised and mentored the Transition Project Manager for the Heritage Lottery Transition Project.
SNH and Southern Upland Partnership
Carried out a six month community consultation supporting the development of the Dumfries & South Ayrshire Biosphere.
Stranraer Credit Union
Carried out a major business review and feasibility study. Funds secured £10,000.
Newton Stewart Rugby Club
Secured funds to employ a rugby development worker. Total £70,000.
Braemar Castle (The Pool)
Secured funds from Historic Scotland to refurbish this Grade A-listed building. Also developed a business and development plan for the longer term project. Total funds secured £144,000.
