Creetown Initiative has been engaged by Kirkmichael Village Renaissance, a registered charity based in Kirkmichael, Ayrshire, to undertake the development of a business plan for the McCosh Hall. The organisation has over 40 volunteers and is also responsible for the management of the village shop and cafe. Recently, Kirkmichael Village Renaissance has taken on the running of the McCosh Hall on behalf of the community.
Creetown Initiative will carry out community consultations with all sections of the community ranging from Primary school aged children, to elderly people, to ensure the entire community is engaged and represented in the development of the business plan. Organisational capacity will be studied, in addition to a skills audit and meetings with key stakeholders, which will be used to inform the business plan.
