Waverley Hall, Creetown

Creetown Initiative owns and manages the Waverley Hall on St John Street, Creetown, which is available to hire for community groups, businesses, private hire (e.g. parties) and organisations. After being permanently closed by the Council in 2013, Creetown Initiative acquired the hall, secured funding to refurbish the building, and reopened the hall in 2016. The hall has a badminton sized court, a stage, toilets, disabled toilets, chairs and tables, fully equipped kitchen and there is full access throughout.

Rates for Hire

Adult Community Group = £10 per hour (reduced to £8 per hour if block booking of 12 weeks or more)

Concession Community Group (youth/pensioner) = £8 per hour (reduced to £6 per hour if block booking of 12 weeks or more)

Commercial = £18 per hour (reduced to £15 per hour if block booking of 12 weeks, or £12 if 26 weeks)

Commercial Day Rate (9am – 5pm) = £100

Private Functions = £12 per hour (plus £16 for cleaning)

Dance the afternoon away at our Christmas dance. Mince pies, sherry and whisky served. This will be the last dance session of the year. This event is part of the Ferry Friends programme.
