WAVERLEY HALL UPDATECREETOWN INITIATIVE LTD HAS DECIDED TO WITHDRAW ITS PLAN TO PURCHASE/REFURBISH THE WAVERLEY HALL FROM DUMFRIES & GALLOWAY COUNCIL. THIS DECISION IS DUE TO THE TIME CONSTRAINTS IN RAISING THE MATCH FUNDING REQUIRED.FOR YOUR INFORMATION, WE ARE CURRENTLY IN CONVERSATION WITH D&G COUNCIL ABOUT AN ALTERNATIVE PLAN FOR THE HALL AND WILL GIVE A FURTHER UPDATE ONCE KNOWN.MEANTIME, IF THERE ARE NO OBJECTIONS BY 31 AUGUST 2026, WE WOULD LIKE TO DONATE THE TOTAL FUNDS RAISED OF £959.00 TO TWO OF OUR COMMUNITY PROJECTS WHO HELPED WITH THE FUNDRAISING, NAMELY FERRY FRIENDS AND CREETOWN INITIATIVE YOUTH GROUP.ELAINE MARR, CIL ...
